I have lost more than 2k followers in Twitter in past 48 hours and I am not the only one.

Last night I was kind of shocked when I noticed I had already lost more than 1K follower on twitter. But I didn't try to dig more because it was already late night and I was about to sleep.And again I lost my mind this morning when I was more drop on my followers count. It's because I have spent a lot of time and gave much effort to built my networking there manually(without using auto-bots) trying to avoid spams and bots as much as possible(you can imagine how hard it is to perform all those tasks manually but I still do it) and it's like a big property to me.

After doing some research I realized that they are suspending some real accounts too. I was more shocked when I found one of my real connection with whom I interact most of the time on twitter was also suspended.

But says temporary, I don't know the final outcome yet.

While some are suspended permanently.

At first I thought it was only me, but when I did some Twitter search, I realized it wasn't only me and many users are also facing the same issue.

On the other hand, some known bot and spam accounts are still safe and haven't lost any followers either, which is kind of unrealistic.

Whatever they are up to but it's clear that they are harming lots of innocent and real users on the platform. And today this really made me think about the power and need of decentralized platform like #steemit . I am planning to wait and see the outcome of this for a week. Now I feel I need to concentrate building my network and connection on steemit and I will have my close eyes on every new decentralized Social Media platforms that come in future.
