This is really interesting. Twitter announced yesterday from its blog that they had decided to trial a longer character limit for Tweets, moving up from 140 - 280. Sounds like a good idea to me but there are a few concerns. We will start with the least objectional.
1/ Tweets of this new character length don't now fit on the screen meaning you have to navigate to see the whole message. No biggie really.
2/ 280 characters could this mean 140 for the tweet and 140 for hashtag Instagram hell? A tag limit will have to be set.
3/ Have they thought this one through. They just gave President Trump DOUBLE, thats DOUBLE the space to Tweet
