The ex-president of Georgia, the ex-head of the Odessa regional state administration, the leader of the party "Rukh Novikh Sil" Mikheil Saakashvili declares the absence of presidential ambitions in Ukraine, but is ready to head the Cabinet of Ministers.
"I am ready to take responsibility in the normal government of Ukraine unequivocally. I will never run for any presidency under any sauce," Saakashvili said on the live television channel "Zik" today on Tuesday evening.
As an argument of his position, the politician said that, in his opinion, only the Ukrainian, who was born and raised in Ukraine, should be the head of the Ukrainian state. "I have lived more than 13 years in Ukraine, but Ukrainians with experience should be presidents, while other people can work in the government depending on the needs of Ukraine," he explained.
At the same time, former Georgian President said that he had received earlier proposals from the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to head the Ukrainian government, but he refused categorically. "He always hinted at Yatseniuk all the time, that I was the next prime minister, but when I found out that he hinted, I said: Peter Alekseevich , do you really say this? He says: why not? I said: no! ", Saakashvili said.
In addition, when asked whether he will go to the Prosecutor General's Office on Monday for questioning, M. Saakashvili answered in the affirmative.
