UPF MOBI APP
Let me share with you this amazing innovation by one of our peace keeping bodies,well its a great step made and a sign of technology development in our country.
The Uganda Police through the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Monday launched their Lost and Found Property application dubbed; the UPF MOBI APP at Police Headquarters, Naguru, Kampala, Uganda – which is said to be in line with the force’s Strategic Policing Plan 2015 /16 -19/20. The app was officially flagged by AIGP Asan Kasingye.
The app has an easy within no minute login/registery page which needs neither phone number nor email activativation codes and links.
This app has been designed with fewer features but hoping it will be upgraded with time,it has a lost and found utility as shown here.
The user interface is friendly which will make it easy for Ugandan citizens to easily reach out the police facilities.
The app also has the satelite functionality which brings information about police stations near the citizens, with respective contacts of officers and the police leadership structure.
