Buckets and Spades

Nothing says English summer like a trip to the beach. And what would a trip to the beach be without a bucket and spade.

Shops selling these colourful buckets and spades are as quintessentially British as a day trip to the coast.

I photographed these particular specimens in Westward Ho! during our Easter trip to Devon.

I could just have easily have photographed them on the sea front in Brighton although the price tags would have been a lot steeper. 😁
