Sure but... when are we going to see this mystical growth people keep talking about? It's been generations at this point, and I don't see any green-related change in trajectory

We've been building renewables the whole time. If we're hoping to see growth once we turn off the gas taps then we'll be waiting multiple lifetimes, if at all, unless we can start churning out nuclear plants.
