Have you ever imagine been a slave of job security in Nigeria of today
I have heard many people talk about job security as the reason they have stayed back in their distasteful and abusive jobs.
Any job that makes you lose your sense of self worth & dignity is NOT worth it. i have once lose my confidence due to this slave to job
You should not be afraid of loosing your job if you believe you are adding value to the company.
If you are not adding any value, you should personally seek roles where you will become an important member of the team.
Don’t allow the fear of loosing your job make you lose your self confidence because it will be hard to regain it.
It will also prevent you from getting another job.
Once you realize the company doesn’t value you or your work,its time to seek a new challenging role.
Job security is a tool used by oppressors so do not fall for it.
Any employer that makes you think he or she is doing you a favor by hiring you doesn’t value your work.
If you need to add new skills, do it. If you have to change roles, do it.
Keep your head high , seek help where necessary and make the best out of your life.
No one has the right to make you feel worthless. Don’t allow anyone do that to you.
Stop feeling pity for your career, rather, look for remedial actions to get back on track.
Believe in your self & become valuable
