I took some day off to enjoy a short holiday in Vung Tau city, a sea city close to my town.
It was hot during the days and cool in the night, which was quite relaxing. It has been a while for me to visit Vung Tau by myself. This time I stayed with Airbnb and Google for food and location suggestions.
God's Gate
This was my first time to visit this place. Such a beautiful and peaceful location for short sightseeing.
The God's Gate has become popular recently due to incredible shooting angles. Combined with the sea, the rock, and the mountain, you can take beautiful shots here. Hey , how about a long-exposure shot here?
Breakfast with rice noodle and crab
I checked on Google, and this was one of their highly recommended dishes for breakfast, the rice noodle with crab.
Vietnam has many types of noodle, the thin one, big ones like the udon and the Chinese Noodle. Pho is also one of the noodles, too. If I had a chance, I would write more about our country's special noodles.
After having breakfast, I went to the lighthouse for sightseeing and went around the city.
Blockbuster time!
As there were not too many things to do at noon, I had decided to try the movie Mission Impossible: Fallout in the CGV cinema in Vung Tau. Yes, it was the first time for me to travel all the way to Vung Tau to enjoy a blockbuster, in an empty cinema:
Kid me not; there were only eight people in the cinema for that show time.
Overall, it was a nice trip. I have stayed in the central many times to avoid tourist area several times, and this time was a rightful choice. As Vung Tau is becoming crowdier with more and more visitors, saying of the tourist areas seems to be an excellent idea to have a peaceful trip.
If you had a chance to go to Vung Tau, you should try to stay in a residential area for once; you can enjoy the sea atmosphere while not being disturbed by tourists.
