I use to go to school very early every morning even though I do not have early classes just to get rid of the traffic. After sending my daughter to her school, I wait for a jeepney going to Mandaue City where our school is located. Each day I encounter a lot of people from different walks of life. And some of them somehow reminds me to be thankful for all the blessings I receive from God. It also reminds me to be humble, sharing and loving to those less fortunate individuals.
The sales lady is already at her 70s, yet, she gets up early in the morning to catch up passers by who will bought candies. She sells candies and other stuff to make a living in her small stall. Every night, she just keep her stall and go home and be back again in the morning. This old woman is suppose to stay at home and rest and have her children take care of them. I wonder why she is always in the side walk and sell some stuff for a living?
As I looked at her, I remember my mom. I thank God for giving us blessings to support our families most especially to my mom. I thank God for giving us a great parents who in one way or another, have made us a great person in our own little way.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
