I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. -Psalm 40:1-3
These passage tells us that waiting is continue praying to God ,that He will work and trusting His power with hopeful expectation and confidence because we must know the One we are waiting for—We have a patient God. God whose holy presence is closer to us than our own breath. He is the Lord who in a heartbeat of everyone , who can lift us out of the pit of despair, steady us, and fill us with a brand-new song, gives us hope, strength and joy..This is the God we wait on, and as He promised us He rewards those who wait for him.

My Almighty God, please work within me a spirit of patient waiting.O Lord please grant me hope & expectation as you work & display your grace in my life.
