PT Pertamina (Persero) sent aid distribution facilities in the form of 13 tanks to help the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) after the earthquake in Palu, Central Sulawesi, to help channel to the community. Assistance in the form of 12 fuel tank cars, one Avtur tank car and 26 tank car crews.
General Manager of Marketing Operation Region III (GM MOR III) Pertamina Erry Widiastono said that all facilities will be sent from Jakarta using a ship today, Tuesday (2/10).
The tank car departed came from several BBM terminals in the MOR III region, namely Jakarta, Banten and West Java. He hopes that this assistance will make BBM distribution in Sulawesi more smooth.
"So there are those from TBBM in Ujung Berung, Padalarang, Balongan to Tasik. This tank car will be sent to Makassar and Pare-Pare to replace the tank car there which has been sent to help Central Sulawesi," he said as quoted from a written statement, Tuesday (2 / 10).
Previously, the company had also sent four units of 5KL tank cars to Palu on Monday (1/10). The day before, Pertamina MOR III had also sent some distribution equipment, namely 22 boxes of crank pumps, 2 boxes of nozzle and 20 pieces of fuel hose.
On different occasions, Pertamina Marketing Operation Region VII sends 4000 liters of Solar supplies of Solar to Palu, Monday (1/10).
MOR VII Communication and CSR Manager Unit Roby Hervindo said that Solar supplies were sent using AT 802 type Air Tractor from Juwata Tarakan Airport, North Kalimantan.
The aircraft operated by PT Pelita Air Service will support operational assistance for recovery after the earthquake and tsunami natural disasters in Palu and Donggala.
He said the diesel supply was sent from Tarakan TBBM, North Kalimantan, as a form of Pertamina's emergency response in an effort to maximize the distribution of fuel in the region.
