Several days back I downloaded byteball wallet but I never thought they were giving away free bytes token to its user when you do attestation. Then two days ago, our facebook messenger became so busy and the notifications were poping-up continouosly. Then I joined and read the messages. They were talking about byteball giving away $10 - $50 worth of tokens.

I talked to one my friends in the chatroom and he said to uninstall my previously downloaded byteball app and use his referral link. He said the referral tokens would be a lot of help for him. I did what he had said, I uninstalled my previous app and used his link to redownload it.

I was redirected to byteball website. I read it first then clicked the download link. I search for my OS, I used ipad so I click the apple sign. I was directed to app store and I downloaded the app again. I opened the application and was asked to name the device. I used my steemit username Hive account@coolarth.

I chat back to him and he said he’ll send 49,000 bytes to my gbyte wallet. He asked me to look for my wallet address. I clicked the receive button and it showed. I clicked share then copy, so it will copy on my clipboard. I sent my wallet address to him through the messenger and a little later I saw my wallet with 49k of bytes.

He asked me to click the chat button just near the receive button. I clicked the bot button and a list appeared. I clicked the steem attestation bot and a message appeared asking for my wallet address. Not to go back to main menu. I saw a small blue button on the right side of the message field and clicked it. I chose the first option. Instantly my wallet address appeared in the message field and I sent it. The bot sent me a link to enter steemconnect to verify if I have a steemit account. I checked first if it was an authentic steemit connection and it was. I logged in using my steemit username and password. When the succesful login appeared, I closed the browser tab and went back to byteball app. The bot verified the usename and ask to save it private or public. I chose public. A new message appeared asking for payment of 49k bytes. I clcicked the link and I sent the amount. The bot stated that the payment was received. I waited for a few minutes and I received 149,000,000 bytes which was close to $20 and the same amount in smart wallet that can be withdrawn next year. The reward token depends on your reputation. It starts with 30, the higher your steemit reputation the higher the reward.

Now I figured out how to exchange it to bitcoin so I can use to trade it. I went to my bittrex exchange account and search for gbyte. It appeared and I click the deposit to reveal my gbyte wallet address. I copied the address and went back to byteball app and click Send. I entered the amount to transfer and paste the bittrex gbyte wallet address then click send. Hurray! After2 minutes I saw my gbyte wallet with 0.014900000 gbyte. I traded the gbyte to bitcoin inside the bittrex exchange. Now that bitcoin is going up it was a good catch.
