Hi im José Rodríguez

I from Nicaragua, Im 28 years old and im going to participate in the #ulog initiative.

I work as Internal Medicine Doctor in my country working from 1 pm to 9 pm in the hemodialysis center NUEVO HOSPITAL MONTE ESPAÑA. There we take care over 800 patients every 2 days, because their kidneys doesnt work properly.

Those are my patients.

They come avery 48 hour to connect themselves with those machines. They clean their blood from toxins and drain the overload of water. (the main functions of our kidneys)

I also have my medical students.

I teach him Primary Care. Teaching is one of my dreams since i was an adolescent, it makes me feel im helping the next generation to learn better and show why is important the knowledge in the medicine. It can make the difference in a human life.

Then.. comes the boring part...

read the tests i make for them. thx god their are only 30 students . Trying to give a score to my students its difficult because some of them are really good in the practical matters but when it comes in their writing test they don't do it very well..
My teaching hour are from 7 am to 10 am. So as you can see my day its very busy.
But i have a dream of becoming a researcher and i have to save money for my studies. So that's why i work hard every day.

Finally this is where i live.

Its and old hotel but their new owners rent every room for a affordable price. Almost everyone here are student or young couples. One of my students told me about this place when i started to teach. Because i didn't had where to live.
