Fifty-five grade 8 students in a half size classroom.
Beautiful day steemian friends! Today I will let you meet my students in their wonderful smile giggling with excitements. It's Friday the last day of the first week of school, and yes, we survive! ( 1 week down, 39 weeks more to go... lol!)
See them smile in this current classroom situation. Feels like, "wow this is my dream classroom, life is easier this year!" They are sitting just an elbow apart from each other. It seems that those smiles indicate good grade ahead ( what a great cheating arrangement... haha!)
Lovely people in their mysterious smile!
See! Can you feel the positive vibrations? While the teacher's head is aching, thinking of a solution on how to make this classroom conducive to learning, students wear their best smile ever. (Sneaky young humans, they see things in different perspective... Aja!)
We are already in shifting schedule due to the current construction of four-story buildings (where the old classrooms were demolished), plus the never before increased in the number of enrollees! So classroom's regular size was reduced in half to accommodate classes. Here, this would be the classroom setting all throughout this school year. Students are situated like sardines, (a simple mistake would result in a kiss ..lol!) leaving only space to breathe.
But hey look!
Felt like this little man is telling me, "Hey, don't take it seriously. Life is too short to mourn!"... haha!
Oppps! While I was very busy reminding them of what to do. To at least achieve learning even in this difficult situation (yet I know, it was only me who took it seriously.) Look! This little man right in front me still managed to live life happily ever after.. haha!
