After several days and nights of planning the first ever meet up of a reading club founded by called THINKERSPOOL in Ilorin kwara State Nigeria. I thank God having been fully involved in the process of planning and execution was a success, in his word he will like to integrate Reading habit to every nooks and cranny.
This planning began months ago after talk between us of having a family that's been active online for over 3 years to start having branch and physical meeting we are of the opinion that if it can happen in Lagos then it can in Ilorin then the movement begin, in one of Rhonda bryne books tagged "The secret" she said Universe never understand negativity. So he had talks with people about a library that can be used to achieve this goal and he got a positive response then we move to print bill and we fix it at certain location within the campus of university of Ilorin first few days there was no call as to indicate interest of joining then though I was a little bit discouraged then the message started coming "JOIN" as indicated in the bill we pasted ,I felt a sharp sense of relieve and joy radiate within me as it took time to convince before concurring.
So we choose to start today though the bills were posted in the latter part of May.
Today we discussed an eye opener about the game that comes to play in the 2011 and 2015 election in Nigeria... Sincerely what happens behind the scene surpasses what we see in the media or any news agency.. So many behind the scenes action... So everyone contributed their quota and what's we all learned, one of the things I learnt from the book is In politics never make unnecessary enemy and never be in haste to make bargains ,Always be on top of your game and watch whose toes you want to step on. After our little chit chat and refreshment we had a group photographs...it was nice having great minds around to discuss our different perspective and opinions to what we Read and digest.. Just like thinkerspool slogan... Read,Discuss and Digest
