It's another weekend - wishing everyone a beautiful one filled with happiness and spring blooms. :) Another ulog post from this #ulogger that can't post everyday. Wow, it's been 2 months since my previous ulog post. How am I? Update in this ulogger's post.
Nothing much changed, pretty much the same - doctor's appointments, house work from cooking, doing the laundry which often clean clothes turn into little hills in the bedroom and get done when I have time often before I get to bed between 1 to 2 am. Can barely attend to the plants outside and still caring for a family member. But whenever I water and tend to the plants, there's always surprises like the chamomile already flowering on a hanging planter.

Even the night blooming jasmine which I think is one of the most fragrant flower has young buds now and soon will fill the evening air with fragrance. And hopefully if the weather is warm enough, I can leave the glass door open and let the breeze carry the scent inside. It is already spring season but mom and I are still wearing clothes that will keep us warm.

I also got some stuff done when it comes to house chores and phone calls I need to make, from calling People's Services to health insurance provider with back and forth phone calls bcause of coverage issues when premium has already been paid days before. It's really annoying that in today's technology, it takes them days, DAYS for updates to get in their system. Even doing this ulog post today reminds me of the previous month experience which prompted me to log in to insurance provider and checked if the've already updated - lo and behold they haven't updated of course! And this most likely calls for me to make a call again next week and for sure this will make another round for a back and forth call between them, provider, and People's Services again on whose fault it is.
Taking a break from YouTube - It's been 2 months or so since I made my last video lesson on my YouTube channel. I have been thinking since February to take a break and have time for my other 2019 goals specially that since last week of January things had changed, keeping me busy, caring for a loved one, but making video lesson of at least once a week keeps on pulling me so I ended up doing that instead of starting on my other goals (starting my course outline and manuscript revision), but one comment changed my focus. I did take it as a go signal to take a break and focus on my other two goals. Already questioning myself somehow on why I keep getting the same number of views despite the soaring number of subscribers, but to learn that when I decided to really slow down on word pronunciation to cater to a beginner's request, that made someone else feel that they are stupid or I made this person feel that I think they're stupid. Indeed, it is hard to please everyone.
It's raining red
It's been the month of May and I'm happy to say, the result of taking a break from creating video lessons is my outline being close to being done, and same goes for my revision. Both I do at night while everyone at home is sleeping or resting.
The month of May is, like the previous months, phone calls to make which I'm not comfortable of doing. And yes, yesterday I just made 15 phone calls inquiring about aqua therapy and tai chi for parent. We're more into alternative or natural way of healing before we think of considering the surgery that the neurologist want to get done. A simple surgery he said but if it's your body, and has to do with disc, wouldn't you have a second thought? Because once it's done, it's done and no turning back whatever the after result maybe.
To healing, our home exercises continues with healthy eating. Nothing much changed when it comes to my time of sleeping but Igot used to it, doing a bit of reading about acupressure or other forms of way of healing when I get time, usually at bedtime, like last night. Thankful and happy parent is having improvement with the help of healthy eating and exercises being done at home. Today, we've done some walking outside and can't help but admire this jacaranda trees on the other side of the road.
Spring with the jacaranda trees
With that, I'll be ending this post with more flowers from last week at Walmart's garden
center.
