PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk claims that the new Morpla branded mixed cement product on Wednesday (05/09/2018) in Jakarta is a new type in Indonesia.
Holcim Indonesia's Head of Value Added Solutions Oktavina Damayanti said that currently there were no other cement producers in the country producing variants such as Morpla.
This product was issued based on research and development on the use of practical types of cement, but still maintained its quality.
Morpla is a ready-to-use cement mixture product that makes it easy for consumers to fulfill their needs when building houses on a small or large scale.
"We are the first in Indonesia as a pioneer, other companies do not yet exist. There are already abroad, but for Lafarge Holcim Group, "Oktavina said.
He said, this new commodity has a number of advantages over conventional cement which must be mixed with water and sand manually.
The first advantage is about work productivity. People who are building or renovating a house can directly use Morpla to plaster the brick into a wall.
In addition, the workforce is also one person.
Different from the manual method which requires more time to prepare sand material, sieve it, then mix it with cement and water. While the energy needed is at least two people.
As per the research conducted, the construction time using Morpla is 30 percent faster than the manual method.
"For Morpla, when you come, you can use it immediately. So Morpla is 30 percent faster because it eliminates the activity of mixing cement manually, "Oktavina said.
The second advantage is that the quality is more consistent because this product is made directly in the batching plant or the production location and mixing the materials needed to produce the ready-made cement.
Mixing the ingredients is done using computer technology calculations and there is a supervisory or quality control (QC) section that keeps the quality the same and good.
