The police arrested the service provider gang
online prostitution through telephone conversations or phone sex. A South Korean citizen who claims to be the owner of a prostitution service operation is also secured by the police.
South Korean N Myung HA Moon was arrested after police arrested a CSW who provided services through telephone conversations. Moon was arrested at his operations at one of the hotels in Tangerang.
"Claiming to be the owner of AN Myung HA Moon (Korean citizen)," said Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Harry Kurniawan in his written statement on Tuesday (09/10/2018).
The disclosure began when police received a public report regarding alleged online prostitution services via telephone conversations. The police also disguised themselves by pretending to be customers.
"Resmob Restro Tangerang members undercovered their own cellphone that received an SMS BLUSH shipment containing a sexual call invitation through a premium call facility with 0809100XXXX telephone number. Then the officer contacted the telephone number above and heard the voice of a woman claiming to be named Sandra," Harry explained.
Sandra also had an adult conversation with the undercover officer. From the conversation, Sandra also agreed to offer a date when working hours were finished.
"According to the agreement, the hotel was determined at TKP 1 and the money that had to be paid to Sandra was worth Rp. 1 million. Before meeting, Sandra asked the officers to transfer Rp. 300 thousand to his account for transportation purposes," said Harry.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the officer and Sandra entered the room. When Sandra had released her clothes and received a payment of Rp. 1 million, the officers immediately carried out arrests and interrogations.
"Based on Sandra's information, she worked for two years as a recipient of sex conversations through a premium call located at TKP 2. Where previously she had been trained to be conversant around sex as an attraction and passion for the caller (customer)," explained Harry.
The police also secured evidence including Sandra's cellphone, conversation record, hotel check-in receipt, 23 laptop units, 70 modem units, 20 telephone units, several IDs and 1 copy of the letter. As a result of his actions, the suspects threatened a 6-year prison sentence.
