Yesterday I visited my friend around 6:00 PM in her house right beside the railway after I woke up and I had my long walk. I love walking in the afternoon if I have no work. But before that last week I went into her place and there’s no one around and I left going back home. I have made my plans to visit her ever since I can remember because I have no idea if she’s still living there or they have move and rented in another place.
She was surprised to see me, we greeted each other and of course we were like a child giggling and laughing as if what are we really laughing about matters. Her mother doesn’t age much. She was lost seeing me, she can’t remember who I was. My friend’s younger daughter who now is 12 years old stays with her mom, her oldest son is 14 years old lives with her grandmother. Whoa! Time flies really. Then her husband the last time I saw him was not that big and he’s not that skinny too, normal size, normal look, but now things really have changed much!
Maricor and I are friends way back 15 years ago or more. We’ve met over MIRC an internet chatting that is not as stylish as Discord that most people are hanging out back then that FB and Twitter is non-existent. We’ve met a lot of people and make friends that MIRC has been an early FB or Friendster. We hang out most of the time in Roxas Boulevard where music and bar are along the bay area before it was close by then Mayor Lim.
I really don’t have much time and I have to go back home that introducing her to Steemit makes her curious what it’s all about. But I happily presented her ULOG first before Steemit. She told me that I have to go back to her place this coming Saturday and explain to her about Steemit and ULOG. I think she’s the first person I have introduced to ULOG and how it will be her partner for the rest of her writing career when she starts to write. I mentioned too about SteemSecrets, Untalented and Teardrops. First, she’ll have to write about her INTRODUCE YOURSELF before anything else. I already told her what to do with it. I even told her that SG or Surpassinggoogle or Terry is the lone Whale in the Philippines, so just keep on writing, you’ll never know if he might spot your post, like it or even upvote it! I said goodbye to her and her husband and knowing I have my day of ULOG with an old friend.
