Today, we celebrated the first birthday of our furbaby, Dobby. He has grown so much since we got him 10 months ago, when he was just 8 weeks old.
How adorable is that little face??
My daughter, who is a huge Harry Potter fan named him after Dobby, the house elf from the movies.. I'm guessing because they both have big ears.
Dobby is a beagle. He is super cute, smart and a really loving dog.. but also quite hyperactive. We adore him though.
For his birthday, we got him a hamburger for his "cake" and a french fry as the "candle". He ate most of it, but didn't care much for the fry. 😀
The kids took him out to play, and he had fun chasing frogs and stray cats. 😌 My kids got some good exercise chasing after him, too.. until it started raining.
Overall, I think he had a good birthday - whether he realized it or not. 😂
