6th #ulog ☺️
After a little bit over 7 weeks (May 15-July 4), my On The Job Training at PLDT (Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company) has finally come to an end. It took me 30 and a half working days to complete this course. I decided to extend by half a day because of the times I was tardy. All in all I accumulated 244 hours. I am thankful to my immediate supervisor, Sir Willy and all the other senior employees who have been so kind to me and my co-OJT mates. Although I am saddened to leave the company in this time where they are encountering problems with the issue on the employment of contractuals. I hope they’d reconsider the termination of the jobs of thousands of people. One thing’s for sure, I learned a lot about how telephony works, mainly how telephone lines are distributed to the subscribers. I will miss being in an air-conditioned area all day long hehe and keeping myself occupied with answering calls and helping them repair the telephone lines from the main frame in our office. I was supposedly the last trainee to finish the course because I was a week late compared to the other four trainees but 2 days before today, a student from Urdaneta Pangasinan applied and will currently be the lone helping hand of the other employees. I am thankful for the opportunity and I hope whatever I have learned will be of help in the career I will pursue in the future. Salamat PLDT ☺️
Here is a picture of my certificate of completion, a panoramic shot of usual hangout area, and the computer I face all day long for updates and verifications.
