My post a few days ago certainly received plenty of comments, and I have taken out a couple of rock solid suggestions for adding new Crypto coin income flows to my life. Here is the post if you haven't seen it. You may get a couple of good ideas out of it too, but please do your own homework. 1 thing I learnt is that putting an on a post certainly generates interest, exposure and more engagement with your post. Definitely recommend the service for these style of posts.
The first suggestion that I am picking up and running with revolves around staking coins. I have learnt that this is a different type of coin, that rewards those that HODL basically (in the core wallet) with a payment for holding the coin and keeping the wallet up and running. There is obviously a more technically correct definition around somewhere, but that's how I understand it. The suggestion came from and was simply to stake XPTX. (I know many of you may be familiar with this "staking" concept but it was new info to me).
The research I have done shows this coin to be a coin called PlatinumBAR. According to coinmarketcap it is ranked 875 and has a market cap of around 1 million USD. Pretty small coin and certainly one I had never heard of. But, I have downloaded the core wallet and synced it up to date, and on Saturday I'll have some XPTX in it - the grand total of 5 XPTX (worth about 0.0005 BTC). I had to open an account on cryptopia, and will convert a few BTC to XPTX on saturday to see how it goes. I'll keep you up to date on how it progresses.
The post I put up most definitely received alot of comments, and I am very grateful to all that made suggestions. If you haven't yet, feel free to refer to the original post. I will work my way through them and do further research to see which ideas are most suited to my need.
Not alot else happening, I have missed a couple of freewrites but will do a new one in the morning (its 1.20 am while I am writing this)
I won't babble on any more now, time for bed.
Have a great day (or night)
John.
