Hello everybody,
This morning one of our topic at Steemit Crochet group chat was about our stash and passion for collecting things. showed her yarn stash. I suggested she will make cord wraps out of it. She said, she can make one if I can show the item.
So, after lunch, while at our free office at Gaisano SuperMetro, I made a sample. Sadness I do not have yarns. Instead, I brought along my stash, I frogged before which I bought at a second hand store or Ukay Ukay.
Terms:
CH - chain
SC - single crochet
I just CH 9, 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook and the rest across, CH 1, turn your work.
Row 2: still same, 1 SC in each SC across until Row 12.
Row13: 1 SC in each 2 SC, CH 3, skip 1 SC, 1 SC in each 2 SC, CH 3, 2 SC in each 2 last SC, cut and weave ends.
Oh oh, I don't have buttons! and needle.
So, I went up at the 3 Rd mall on the school supply section...tsk tsk ...no craft supply. I found only this sewing kit with teeny weeny buttons!
so, I bought it, what can I do, I need them...hmm...what I did, I wrapped the button using button stitch.
Oh, by the way, I found yarns, but, no...I didn't got 1, expensive for me.
I was happy with my button creation... Sewed the 2 buttons,
Taadaaah! Done!
You can make thin ones or more wide. It is attractive when you use unique buttons. You try make this Cord Wrap, for an organize cord at home or sell.
