Yesterday at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, we joined and witnessed the Mactan Newtown Letchon Festival.

We had the chance to join because my daughter is a member of the Marigondon ukulele ensemble.

Colorful Parade

The said event started by a colorful parade of participants. There were mascots from McDonalds. Followed by the management and staff of the Mactan Newtown. Next, the Marigondon ukulele ensemble, followed by the dancers from Abellana National School. There were also dancers from Science and Technology School Center (STEC). Last, were the different decorated letchon floats.

I saw these young and beautiful models of Lapu Lapu with Reyna Bulakna and Ferdinand Magellan. Women
shouted "gwapo". I'm one of those who shouted actually. Lol
