"Yesterday I was driving along and I came across these huge stunning flowers!! I knew I would return for photo's to share with my Steemian friends!! Later I found out these are hybrid Hibiscus called the Hardy Hibiscus." ~
Paradise with the Huge Hardy Hibiscus
The Hardy Hibiscus
Hybridized from wildflowers that have the largest flowers of them all, with blooms from 8 to 12 inches wide. These wonderful yard shrubs are very winter hardy and they display their stunning flowers all summer and fall.
You can wow your friends with these huge blooms, and they are super easy to grow. Don't think these garden treasures are difficult. It's quite the opposite. They love full sun and decent soil plus some pruning once in awhile.
Huge blooms the size of a dinner plate
They leaf out very late in spring, so don't think they're dead and chop them down. Be patient, and in a few weeks you'll have attractive foliage and soon after a summer full of spectacular bloom.
