Its been a long and busy week in our final semester as undergraduates just like many before it. I had slept early to refresh and re-energize myself only to wake up too early with less refreshment and an empty stomach.
It takes grace to survive in this world...
For as long as i could remember, I have had an unusual sleep pattern. I could also call it a sleeping disorder, sometimes it's advantage to my reading and studying habits but on a general note, it remains a bad investment to my health.
On getting up! I hurriedly made a custard meal nourished with peak milk to sustain myself while at it, I grabbed my phone to check on my messages and updates as well as my steemit account. After all that, I went ahead to say my morning prayers; and as usual, I sought forgiveness, guidance, blessings, protection, and divine mercy for myself and the rest of the world.
Part of my routine activities for weekends is to play football but somehow I have managed not to play for a while now., this is due to a minor injury I sustained which is yet to fully heal otherwise I couldn't I have just quit football like that, its hard for me or let me say its an addiction.
Well, the good news about today is that I have a wedding party to attend. It's the wedding of my very good friend's brother and am will be going to the event in the company of a few close friends.
I did little chores, cleaned up, made a few calls out to my friends to arrange a meet up and we embarked on our journey.
The event is scheduled to hold at a neighbouring city. it's a 30minutes drive from our school. The address was pretty easy to locate and our journey was hassle free.
On getting there, the occasion was yet to begin and we waited patiently.
While we were there, I started this ulog writeup. my friends were puzzled and asking about what I was writing. I told them about Steemit and the amazing opportunities this community offers. they were intrigued and promised to sign up.
The event had commenced, the bride and groom were welcomed, blessed and joint in holy matrimony. It was colourful and fun filled. We ate to our satisfaction and departed soon after.

My day couldn't have gone any better than that and I was glad that I was in attendance.

Shoutout to @Nathanmars, and many others for making this community a better place.
#ulog has given me the opportunity to tell my everyday story and am also enjoying the steemit community more and more and hope to spend more time with this amazing community.
Thank you for reading.
Go steemians!
