Fascinated by how black and white changes the mood of a certain image, without the color that gives life to an image, black and white can suddenly change and show some story behind it in a manner where drama is being presented, sometimes it feels like it’s a thing of the past, a memory.
I was about to go home from a place I visited when I noticed an Arab lady waiting for somebody standing beside the road. She was holding an umbrella with her while standing in the heat of the sun. Wearing a black Abaya and a black umbrella, It catches my attention directly, this two gives a unique shape, together with the tree beside her, it feels like it will pour at her. There are lots of stories you can create in this image, the tree with the black and white is something like it will try to grab her. But the one story it catches me most is, with the lack of rain in this country, I felt missing the rain.
