Laughter is the best medicine! is quite a common belief. However in my case, Anime is the best medicine! especially for stress-induced diseases.
I believe that stress is the main reason why I'm feeling awful from the past week. A lot of things happened and is continuing to happen. Life has been especially tough these days and I thought, I need a dose of my favorite medicine... ANIME.
I haven't watched any last week, even my "Takeru-kun" is worried, but he said he's cheering me on from his side of the world. He's just waiting for me to call him up when everything seems to settle down. I can't wait to talk with him soon, he's also a great aid for me ever since. <3
So yeah, I started watching the episodes of the weekly anime I'm following this season.
I'm in the middle of watching Boku no Hero Academia Season 3 episode 16. After this, I'll check out last week's episode of Major 2nd, Cells at Work and One Piece. Anime really helps me escape the real world temporarily and induce happiness to my senses.
Well, aside from anime, papa also bought me my cough medicine today as well as for my throat... so I'll definitely feel better soon. as if I have a choice, right?
What I'm thankful for despite being sick is that I didn't have my asthma attack. It would be the worse case if it happens. Well, my asthma is tolerable and I can just cure it with oral medication, but I hate the tachycardic side effect of the medication. I only want my heart to beat fast when I'm in love, not because of a medicine's side effect. lol~
My Kaonashi tumbler has been with me for the past days, too. It's my favorite tumbler especially when I'm sick because it's a thermos tumbler, so it can keep my water warm. <3 And it's super cute which reminds me of Spirited Away, one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies.
How about you? What do you do when you're sick and aside from the usual medicine and rest, what's your best medicine? Thanks for reading. See you! <3
