I just made that up actually. I am not even really sure if there is such a day dedicated to dental care. But I needed to do that because I wanted my little one to go to the dentist willingly, not with cold hands and heart pumping hard. Yeah, what mothers do for their kids just to get things done.
With a little convincing, I was glad that "Dental Care Day" worked for my little one. She is elated to be part of this day. Yey!
Anyway, I am glad the dentist's clinic is child-friendly. Even the dentist is. I think all dental clinics should have this vibe. It is a great help to parents.
My little one was very happy upon seeing the clinic. She helped herself out, looking around.
The doctor even told her to have a pose with daisy duck.
Now when doctor asked her to sit on the dental engine, apparently that's what's its called, it was amazing to see her very willing to sit and still smiling.
Feeling all amazed and relaxed:
The Spotlight is on her!
Before cleaning started, the doctor evaluated her teeth. Turned out that one of the roots of her baby tooth was left when it fell off. So doctor needed to remove it to make way for the permanet tooth coming in.
Through the process she was very cooperative and brave.
Importance of Dental Care
Apparently, poor oral health can lead to problems suh as bad breath (makes one have low self-esteem), tooth decay (makes it hard to concentrate in school with ouchy tooth) and gum diseases. So going to the dentist twice a year is a plus to ensure healthy oral and dental hygiene among brushing and flossing.
It was not just in the commercials, but the dentist actually recommended Sensodyne as her toothpaste.
It was not her first time to go to the dentist, but it was the first time she enjoyed going to the dentist. I usually have her teeth cleaned twice a year but it almost always trimmed to just once a year. Just because I get really irritated when she argues with me. So to save myself from an arguing bout, I simply surrended to her wish on not going to the dentist.
I am glad to have "discovered" thus child-friendly clinic.
She even had a take out balloon!
All pictures are mine.

Brother Terry a.k.a. is behind this great initiative. He has been a supportive and kind person too. So without second thoughts, I give my SUPPORT to him as a WITNESS by voting him at https://steemit.com/~witnesses.
You can do the same by voting for him. You simply type in "steemgigs" at the first search box. Or you can give him witness voting decisions on your behalf, by typing in "surpassinggoogle" in the second box as a proxy, just like what I did.
I also support his projects SMT and
