The Habagat or the South West Monsoon is causing the torrential rains we have been experiencing since Friday night.
Not Again
School kids prayed for it, and was answered. Classes are suspended.
It was a reasonable move that the local government declared the suspension of classes. And it was a plus that it was declared hours before. They will be safer at home. Parents less worried.
Hooray for playtime
It is unquestionable that the kids nowadays depend on their gadgets to ease boredom. And why not, they needed to learn technology, be techies. The future is full of gadgets. Depriving them of it will not help them keep up with the modern world.
*** However, too much of everything is not advantageous.***
So instead of spending a sedentary day today, turned off their gadgets and took this an opportunity to have active play, the Filipino way.
Holen (Marbles)
Introduced them the fun in playing marbles. They are old enough to know it shouldn't be eaten anyway.
Taguan (Hide-and-seek)
Who haven't played this? It is a fun, "silent" game. Only to be disturbed by ratttles every now and then when the "it" finds one and they run to their "home base".
I took this opportunity to take a pic of them.
Here I was getting back to my being a kid. They are not so hard to find actually as they opt to hide together. Find one, find all. Lol.
Thanks for reading my #ulog for today.
