For the final round, I asked you to crochet something up for Easter. I must admit, every entry has that magical Easter touch in them.
I think we all enjoy Easter. From kids to adults, there is always something to love about it. Whether is the egg hunts and the new dresses or shorts, or whether its the chocolate we all so love, so addicting!
Well here is a little bit of Easter love from me to you, starting with showing off your entries to the contest to give you the limelight!
is amazing at making amigurumis. In her post she writes about Easter, sharing knowledge from the past about the Easter Egg Hunts from 1878. She also gives us a 'how to' on how she made her little sleeping bunny. Well worth checking her post out as we always learn something everyday and this one has some great knowledge! Click on her picture to be sent directly to it.
has also talked a bit about Easter, highlighting the times in the past on the religious meaning of Easter. She then shows the process of how she made her handsome bunny character with basket and 3 eggs. I love how she has him clothed with his little hat too. Check it out! Click on the pic to see her post, well worth the read!
is a genius when coming up with a way to photograph her bunny egg. She created such a cute little guy that fits perfectly in a cup! I think it's the perfect way to represent the items in a gift basket. Easter is approaching fast so if you want to get on making your baskets extra cute, click on the image to be sent to her post so you can see how she did it.
has created her very firsts #needleworkmonday post and was so excited to show off her bunny cake since Easter is just around the corner. She shows us the process of making her oh so cute bunny cake in her post; a delightful, almost tasty amigurumi bunny that she has been asked to make for some little ones. I know if it were for my kids, they would absolutely love it! Check out her post by clicking on her image!
Time to show a little more loving by announcing the winners!
Of course you are all winners with such amazing artistic skills, so let's go with announcing places.
1rst place:.....drum roll please! .......!!! Congratulations!
Runner up is and of course I will be showing you some love as well! It's just too cute to go without :P
So, with sadness, this brings us to the end of this Crocheting Contest. A deep feeling I have to have to let it go. I might be able to pick this up again in the future hopefully!
Keep on crocheting, keep up the fiber arts as you all have such great talent! Show it off! Keep in touch with #needleworkmondays and #fiberartists. Wonderful events to take part in.
Thank you for your donations in helping this contest and thank you
(keep an eye on this one too, she makes the needles and fibers go round ;p) for your support as well!
Much love to you all and I hope I can keep seeing what you all bring to this platform!!
