Pachamama contains infinite knowlege and intelligence withing her Being. Every leaf, every pebble, every living creature has something to teach us.
So why in modern society do we confine children to classrooms, and buildings, surrounded by the same people and objects every day?
Our family chooses to use the world as our classroom. The dirt, the stars, the ocean, the forest.... it all has more to offer than any classroom setting. In nture they EXPERIENCE science and math, they EXPERIENCE problem solving and critical thinking,in nature they EXPERIENCE spirituality, in nature they begin to understand the essence of their own Being (connection) and existence (infinate).
I love how my children play in the forest, how they collect and touch and hold and shape the world around them. I love how they move, how they find stillness, how they dance in the rain and bask in the sun. I see them come alive in the forest, and I know that they have not been robbed of their childhood, their freedom, or their humanity.
What pachamama offers them at this young beautiful age is what many of us seek during our midlife crisis'. They wont ever have to seek, because this was never taken or hidden from them.
Not to mention health benefits of more sunshine, movement, and fresh air... or grounding... yes we (my son and I) love to hike barefoot. I am so greatful we chose this life. I love to explore outside with my loves.
Ps: I will analyze those dreams from my last post later today while at the coffeeshop!
