This is my response to Terry aka 's another round of #untalented contest which he named #untalented-adjustments.
I'm sure I have already said this before. Steemit is an ultimate game changer! You ask why?
Before Steemit, I was just an ordinary employee tied up on a 10hrs working schedule everyday from Monday til Friday.
I would wake up in the morning, prepare myself, go to work and wait for the 10 hours to finally pass. After work, I'd just spend my free time window shopping or cooking and then going over my social media sites until I fell asleep. This has been a usual routine for the past years. Boring isn't it? I know. What could be a good use of social media aside from communicating with your long distance friends and family? We can't even earn from it.
I've struggled with my financials for quite a period of time because it felt like my salary wasn't enough. Heck, I'm even richer when I was still studying in college because I have online earnings before!
One day, I found Steemit and since then, my usual routine changed, my free time is now spent in a better way, the way I see coins and other cryptocurrencies also changed and my perspective in life became way better!
I gained new friends and found the old ones whom I met before in other online earning sites.
I was so happy because it felt like being reunited with an old friend. ❤
Reading blogposts helped me learned a lot of things. I also became interested with other cryptocurrencies and I've developed love towards trading.
I usually see these from my friends in facebook online but it didn't really matter to me at first simply because I am not aware of it. I'm too lazy to ask nor to research about it and what it does. All I know is that they earn from it. But since I do not understand the concept, I didn't give much attention to it. I also have a fear of losing my hard earned money. I had several experiences before and so since then, I've been afraid to take risks.
Steemit came into my life and it changed my perspective. When interacting, I've always been patient in reading blog posts by others, may it be short or long. 's blogpost are most of the time long, longer than my patience (Lol) but I have loved every bit of his piece of work just because I learn something from it and his message was always heartfelt and touching. That's also the case when it comes to other Steemians' post. I don't mind reading long post as long as I could learn something from it(informational/moral lesson in life) or even simply as long as I feel the heart of the author in it. I do feel it. I feel it when a post is written from the heart. ❤
All I want at first was to exchage my sbd in external exchange sites such as bittrex during the time that it hits $16 to take advantage of its high value. Through some of the posts authored by good traders, I became curious about trading too and so I tried it. I began to watch the youtube videos of and learned a lot about the basics of trading. And from then on, I tried trading different altcoins and gained good profits. Steemit's internal currency has become my stepping stone to make this all happen. Now I'm happily trading using my earnings here in Steemit! I'm not yet a pro but I'm learning. ❤
I invited a few friends to join here too!
I am happily earning now while interacting with other Steemians and so, I invited a few friends here so that they could also experience the wonders of Steemit. I'll introduce them to you guys soon, I hope you'll also support them. ❤
I didn't realize that I wrote this much already. But hey, I put my heart into this. 😜
Thanks for reading!
