AMAZING ADJUSTMENTS THAT HAVE HAPPENED TO MY LIFE SINCE I FOUND STEEMIT

It was back in july 2017 when I came to know about steemit. I was on instagram or facebook and I saw a video there by Hive account@jerrybanfield who has been working very hard to promote steemit.

BEFORE JOINING STEEMIT
2017 wasn't an easy year for me. A failure in GATE(qualifying test for admission in masters degree in engineering) had dented me.
My day used to start with social media networks like Instagram and Facebook.
I used to check these websites before getting out of my bed and my whole day kind of revolved around social media networks.
I used to waste a lot of time doing nothing which of course I didn't realise back then because I had no idea how the time I wasted could have been utilised to make money on steemit.

AFTER I FOUND STEEMIT

I must say the journey from july to this date has not been easy.
I have had rough rides.
My rough rides were mainly because when I joined steemit, I had no idea what am I getting into. I saw a video by Hive account@jerrybanfield and he talked about earning money by posting and I said to myself that hey! this is the platform where I could make some money. But to be honest I had no idea, what steemit is and how it works.
I was in the last semester of my bachelors degree and I never really made an effort to know steemit and get involved in it.
I started posting pictures and go nothing.
Someone suggested I should add a few pictures and write some content relating to the pictures,I did that and got nothing.

AFTER KNOWING STEEMIT
It was during mid september when I finished my bachelors degree and spent sime time on steemit until I finally understood what steemit is and what I need to do here to succeed.
I posted content on daily basis and got and began to make new friends.
I began a contributor on utopian and have been contributing regularly. I also got a job of a moderator on utopian and for which I am grateful to Hive account@elear, Hive account@ruah and Hive account@espoem for giving me the opportunity.

Compare this screenshot to the previous one and you'll know how much difference a few months can make.
As Winston Churchill said:

Success is going from failure to failure without loosing enthusiasm

And my little success is mainly because of Hive account@lexiconical as he is the guy from whom I learned how to survive on steemit.
I never really said thanked him for that.

ADJUSTMENTS
*Gone are the days when I used to spend time on facebook and instagram for nothing.
*I may not be a good writer but I am learning a lot and steemit has really boosted my writing skills.
*Most of the boys of my age here rely on their parents for their expenses but I no longer take a cent from my parents for which I am really grateful to steemit.
*I have brought many of my friends to steemit and they keep thanking me for that and really feels good.
*There is no wastage of time now.

Thank you Hive account@suesa for helping new users. Though I didn't know you, not until yesterday when I came to know from a person that you helped him to create an instant account on steemit and even pay for him. You have my respect now.

I almost forgot to mention Hive account@euronation community which I joined just two days ago.
There are a bunch of lovely people there.

Honestly I never engaged in any sort of discussions on your posts before.
I came to know about #untalented community yesterday and believe me you are doing the best possible service to steemit and the steemit community especially the minnows.
You have earned praise and respect from me and from whole #untalented community.
