Stage 2-Thyroid Cancer
Her face
Her body,
Her legs,
A hidden pain behind her soul that keeps the mask inside.
Her wrinkled skin,
Her deepened eyes,
Her bony cheeks,
A lovely smile that sketch behind the tears.
She smiles despite the sorrow
She laughs despite the ordeal
She fights the war inside her cell
She carries the tests with strong fighting spirit.
Her will to survive is stronger than her stage 2 cancer,
Her ways of making other people happy is mightier than her stage 2 cancer,
Her helping hand for the needy is better than her stage 2 cancer,
Her everything of being-a goodwill to live is more powerful than her stage 2 cancer.
She will continue to fight,
She will continue to live,
She will continue to survive,
She will continue the battle of life.
