After college, I worked as an Information Officer of an online advertising company. I loved the job since I get to talk to and meet some of the executives of big corporations like the Gaisano Group of Companies, Waterfront's former go-to party place All Stars Cafe and more. You got that, I'm from Cebu. Hello fellow Cebuanos!
My work as an Information Officer was short-lived though. I began exploring the world of the call center industry where I started as a technical support representative, and eventually promoted as Quality Assurance Evaluator. It did not stop there. I moved and became a Fraud Analyst to eventually becoming a Health Care Consultant. This was where my last years in the call center industry was spent. It was a learning experience for me since I am not medically trained, but I get to learn not just medical terms but also what these terms really meant, especially when I was assigned to review and research medical conditions.
Although it was fulfilling, I still want more for myself. Not just for me but for my kids too! So, I decided to leave and became an online tutor for Japanese and Brazilian students.
It was amazing to learn languages and cultures through teaching, but I still wanted more. I ventured out to joining the challenging and equally glamorous world of real estate. This brought me to The City of Gentle People, Dumaguete City. Thanks to a broker friend and her cousin, who's a close friend of mine, . Yes, she's a Steemian too!
It's an enjoyable field to learn, and I still am learning, especially when you meet new people. My call center experience was just one way of learning "real customer service". This one's another way because I get to talk to these people face to face. I am still looking for something else though. For self-fulfillment and financial stability . Did I mention I've ventured to food entrepreneurship when I introduced myself? That is right, me and my partners, including , is focusing on our first food business which is currently in the works. Stay tune for the Foodcrib Southern Cuisine in Dumaguete everyone!
While I'm busy with these things, introduced me to Steemit. It took me a while but with the help of
, I've finally found my way through. I can't wait to share my stories, interests and growth with you guys!
Now, I can only hope for the best, not just for myself but for my kids too!
Thank you to all those who were part of introducing Steemit to me. To for being an instrument through
. To
