This post was inspired by a contest initiated by
Hive account@kus-knee called A New Contest Featuring Untamed Nature! I already participated before in the contests organized by
Hive account@kus-knee and I can say that they are particularly interesting, attractive and generously rewarded.
The Park
Bazilescu Park is a park located in the northwestern part of Bucharest, in the Bucurestii Noi neighbourhood. This park has an area of 13.5 hectares and was set up in 1954. It is a park where there are also several old trees, remnants of Codrii Vlasiei, a secular forest that in the past existed over a very large area around Bucharest.
Theater Building
Inside the park is the Summer Theater, built in 1953 and inaugurated at the World Youth and Students Festival, which had a capacity of 2000 seats. It was a perfect place for outdoor art events in the summer. Concerts and theatre performances! After 1989 the theatre was abandoned. Since then the building has been degraded and wild vegetation, trees have begun to conquer space. Now it looks like this:

Degradation

In the last years there have been promises that the theatre will be repaired and brought to the glory of the past. Politicians promise in electoral campaigns that they will repair the theatre but after winning they forget about promises. I still hope!
The Ghost
There are urban legends stating that this theatre is haunted by ghosts. People say they heard strange and scary noises, like a man's scary cough. Others say they saw a ghost in the form of a woman dressed in white. It looks like the ghosts of the former owners of the lands on which the park is. Lawyer Bazilescu and his wife. This family was largely persecuted by communists, the property being confiscated, various members being sent to prison or forced labour camp and his wife being pushed to suicide.
My Opinion
I crossed this park every day and night. Sometimes the only light was the moon. I didn't have the joy of meeting the ghosts. I don't know anyone who saw them. I think they were invented by the press, magazines with paranormal topics.

There is even a video inside the Theater
At the end, we see an inside Summer Theatre filming with a great Romanian actor, Florian Pittis, dead in 2007. I don't know when the shooting was made, but of course a few years before 2007. In the movie, we can see the beginning of theatre degradation and vegetation had begun to grow among the rest of the seats.

Finally
I hope with all my heart that you loved my story and at the same time I hope I will not upset the two ghosts who live very close to me. Hope not to visit me uninvited!
