Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

And this is so true that when children are aware of their surroundings with the guidance of great parents and guardians, they can be nurtured as better human beings.
We were very privileged to experience such an opportunity when we were given open doors to promote poverty awareness in Malaysia through this nursery preschool.
Children were given opportunity to experience food of different nations, but at the same time are given talk to be aware that there are many other children who are not as privileged as them.
During the free flow counter we were very blessed to get to know the food and culture from other countries, some of them were volunteers by the parents, dressing up according to the country.
And through this event, we were very blessed with great response by the parents and attendees who donated much needed items especially for single moms and aboriginal families alike.
The donations were abundant and we had to get the vans to carry them back to the Food bank for re-arrangements and stock take before sending out to crucial needy families.
At this final quarter of the year, we are just so blessed and grateful for such open doors; and we hope that with this awareness program, more families will know their fellow countrymen's suffering and be able to provide a helping hand.
So far, even though Malaysia has been suffering on the down side on the economy abundance, givers are still coming in. This truly showcases the beautiful hearts of Malaysians (and its residents) in the spirit of giving.
