The updates continue...

Sent out a big thank you email to my crew today along with these coloured frames! DPs like to wait until they've coloured the "screen shots" or frames from their work which is something I never would have thought of except I got in trouble once before on a different project. But I totally understand that they want to make sure they're happy with their work before they put it out there! Seeing these made my day and I just can't believe what we accomplished last weekend.

Funny Story about that knife I'm holding...

So we knew we wanted to have a big reflective knife for this shoot and I had a smaller one but was having trouble finding one out in the world! We needed that shiny steel look that was almost a mirror so we could do some cool set ups.  We were on set setting up and we had my smaller one and thought "Okay we'll just have to make this work" and were hustling to pull pieces from the warehouse to set up our location WHEN SUDDENLY

I saw a massive shiny knife (pictures above) sitting on a counter in a fake kitchen. That is the magic part of movie making magic. It's such a great prop that we really made use of in the film and it happened last minute but perfectly!

Also to update you all on how funds are continuing to be sourced for the film! I am going to continue with the Hive account@fundition updates and Steem updates until the movie is really done! Which means edited, coloured, submitted to festivals etc. I still want that Steem logo present on the film and Hive account@fundition!!! It would have been nice to have the funds before the project shot but we were on a tight schedule so I decided to front the film and have also sent out packages to friends/family to collect some donations.  I continue to give Steem the first sneak peeks of everything and hope that you are still enjoying me sharing content. I believe that films can be powered by Steem and I'm going to keep on keeping on to make that happen. EVEN while the price is down.
