Hello again, my dear friends. As many of you already know, yesterday began the B&W URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST by . My congratulations to
winner of the first day and therefore first finalist of the contest and thanks to the jury for considering my first entry.
Today is the second of the 7 days that the contest will last, so here is my contribution.
This photo was taken in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, at the Cultural Center Flor de Venezuela. This is a structure designed by the Venezuelan architect Fruto Vivas, inspired by the Tepuyes de la Gran Sabana and the national flower of Venezuela, the Orquidea. This artistic work, which is also known as Hannover Flower for having won a contest in Hanover, Germany, has 16 petals that can open and close. Inside it has various exhibitions.
Places that once had high flow of visitors are increasingly desolate, as you can see in the photo. A large number of people have emigrated from the country and each time it is more noticeable. That day the only visitors were my sister, my nephew (the woman and the boy in the picture) and me.
Here the original photo
That's all, at least for now, my dear friends.
