It's been three months since we moved into our new place that we called now our "second home".πWe are only renting for the moment since we couldn't figure out yet where to settle down either going back to Europe or maybe move somewhere in Asia or staying here in Cebu. Or might fly to Mars. πWho knows? π Plans are changing every year. And the pandemic just make it more harder.The restrictions,protocols and whatsoever.πΆ
When we moved here. I DECIDED to do more and focus in gardening. Since we have a balcony that is facing the morning susshine rays. I'M A PLANT ADDICT and I love growing vegetables too. In our first home. We manage to grow some tomatoes,red & green chillis,sweet basil, pepperment and more. And it is super rewarding. Here are some of them.
I was very happy when I got to see the results of my mini garden. We only have small balcony too before. But watching your veggies growing and bear fruits. That's another story.
As we move here to our new place.We aim to have more tomatoes and basil. They have grown very easily from seeds. We love tomatoes for our daily morning toasted bread for breakfast and pasta pesto for some pasta craving dinner. So, we decided to grow more of them. And the result was amazing. We had some flowering tomatoes. Growing fruits tomatoes from small tiny one into big ones. Our basil pots were really producing a lot of leaves and they look very very healthy. I already shared my basil to our neighbor and my zumbamate. Sharing is caring. πππ±
They're thriving.Aren't they beautiful? ππ±Look at those gigantic green leaves. IF YOU COULD JUST SMELL IT.It calms me down and my heart is full just watching them. π»πWhat an achievement so far!
And of course my tomatoes. I can't wait to harvest and have them on my toasted bread one day. I know, my exageration about my tomatoes snd basil were super extra and immeasurable but it just makes me happy and make me proud of doing the things that I love the most. ππ±π
You might consider planting and growing basic veggies at home.
You just need some pots and with the help of Mr.sun and a lot of checking,watering and viola. You will have your own tiny, precious,amazing, incredible garden space.π Baby steps!As I always said π£And you will see the results eventually.
