The shape of the constellation Ursa Major and the Pleiades star cluster are similar to each other (Pleiades is smaller) and resemble a bucket. Even mythologically in Russia, these two constellations are related: The Big Dipper had the name "Seven Sages" and the Pleiades had the name "Seven Sisters". Both constellations correlate with Makash and both were called Stozhars. But the first reflected her zoo morphic hypostasis of the bear/elk Makosha and was called Elk or Great Bear, etc. And the second reflected her orthomorphic hypostasis of Makosh's duck and was called Duck's Nest, Kuchki, Breasts, Duck, Club.
Makosh is a triune deity (a prototype of a trinity). The central figure is the fate of the Universe. To the right is the goddess of life Zhiva. On the left - the goddess of death Mara. In the Neolithic period, when agriculture was only recently formed, the hypostasis of Mara in the form of Mother Earth was the most significant. According to it from the Earth (as a body, a cosmic body) the person was born - like a sprouted grain (the will of Zhiva). And on the Earth, people died, i.e. they returned to the place they had come from: how we plant a corn from a grown ear into the earth for a new life (the will of Mara).
