I got up early to go on this hike southeast of Kanab, Utah on Highway 89 down House Rock Valley. I have been dreaming about coming back here since March just before the world went nuts
I kept a vigorous pace thru the sand wash trail. I started at the Wire Pass area like before. This time I wanted to go up the Buckskin Gulch trail
This place I named "The Cathedral"
I like to give things I see made up names as I go along to keep myself amused
From the Cathedral going North leads you to Buckskin Gulch, which is pictured above. Going south is a section of narrows that goes on for over 20 miles I am told. Someday, I want to go on a back pack trip for a few days thru the narrow canyon
The Elephant
Once thru the narrows, the wash opened up to show the desert life
Pretty desert flowers for my good friend
The Ugly Twins
I wish I had more time to keep going, but I was thankful for the time I had. And it was getting hot. So back thru the narrows

Keep on dreaming 😘
