Suggestions to avoid unnecessary clutter and add more intelligence to the comment that is made by the vote-bot.
Yesterday, I had a contribution approved by , which is great - I have more ideas so I'm glad to be off and running.
The comment I received this morning by the account is the main image for the post. I suggest a few changes to this, and these are as follows:
[1] If the user is already supporting 's witness (like myself), then this message need not appear, and perhaps it would be better to say something like:
Thank you for supporting the
witness!
I think this would be better to see for viewers of the contribution / blog as it shows the support already in place by this user.
[2] If the user is not supporting the same witnesses at , (some of) these witnesses could be suggested instead.
Using SteemSQL, it is possible to do this comparison using the 'witness_votes' field in the 'accounts' table.
The output of this query displays the witnesses that are supporting, which I am not supporting.
This query could be used to solve both points above.
