| miniature-tiger | utopian-io vote - April 2019 | 94 | 6 |
Three contributions of an excellent standard to report for weeks 17 and 18 of 2019. From 'dalz' q1 report, it is clear to see the steady growth taking place in this project with both the delegation amount and the number of unique users rising consistently over time.
The other contributions this past week were from the same contributor, and 'miniature-tiger' has provided two excellent pieces of worth within this time period. The monthly voting analysis is important for the project as managers and developers can see at a glance the areas that are losing/gaining traction. The analysis provides information that could be used to adjust the vote weights, and gives reviewers feedback on the turnaround time for review-to-vote.
The second contributor by the above author received a staff pick. Not only is the analysis technical and requiring a solid understanding of Steem and the rewards structure, it also contains an in-depth review of proposed changes to the rewards structure, and some more ideas on how the structure could be set out in future. The analysis sparked a healthy discussion with over 40 comments, a really positive sign of an solid piece of work.
Analysis and visual reporting
The aim of this section is to represent the current weeks activity along with a recent set of data. The current data span covers the previous 30 weeks.
Weekly Average Score and number of Contributions
The decline in submission numbers is noticeable of late, but the quality of what is submitted is excellent. We are just below 3 contributions on average for the data range, with a score just short of 70 on average.
Contributor Totals and Average Score
Ten contributors hold average contribution scores above 70 over the past 32 weeks of data analysis, and almost 60% of all 17 contributors average scores over 70.
Contributions that did not receive a score are not included in the charts above.
Review Totals by Reviewer (Scored/ Not scored)
Two reviewers assessed all 97 contributions that received a score in the past 32 weeks.
Six contributions have not been scored during this period.
Other items
Just a short point on observing this quick-view table included in 'miniature-tigers's recent report. Although the Analysis category is going through a quiet period, the percentage decline in contribution numbers is holding up against the likes of Translations, Development, and Graphics, which have all seen declines larger than 50% since November/December last year.
I am hopeful for a rise in contributions across the board, and expect this to follow a rise in the price of the rewarded token.
The Analysis team is available for contact in the utopian-io discord, and also via our blogs. We would like to be able to give every contribution the opportunity to be scored and welcome conversation from potential, or existing contributors that have an idea of a piece of work they are thinking about submitting.
