LINUX is an open source operating system that sits underneath all of the other software on a computer, receiving requests from those programs and relaying these requests to the computer’s hardware
I decided to promote LINUX to my Nigerian people because it is one of the best operating system software around . By promoting LINUX, it will help a lot of Nigerians to know about LINUX and make maximum use of the software and also this will increase LINUX users in Nigeria.
Audience
The promotion targeted over 5 million people in Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Kwara, Sokoto among others with age group that ranged from 18 to 65. This promotion was launched two days ago, it got 5,584 audience. The audience consisted of both male and female people in Nigeria.
Activity
A Facebook post was created on the Facebook Page where i described LINUX to potential audience in Nigeria. LINUX website link was included on the promoted post for those that would like to register or ask me questions about the post. This Facebook Post was boosted to reach more Nigerians within the range of 18 - 65.\
