Project Details
The Quasar Framework is a node and vue based system for making websites and apps. The project has three main things that they will focus on:
- Documentation
- In-app translation strings
- Tutorials, guidelines, etcetera
Quasar Framework is a fresh new project for the Davinci/Utopian Translators to work on, and I felt like starting a translation project from scratch. The project on Crowdin has still to be filled with documentation, for now it exists of a very well-written Open Source Tutorial. This Tutorial is what I'll be translating the coming weeks. Even though I know the basics of Open Source I like the idea of translating the Tutorial since it will refresh my knowledge and probably teach me a few new things in the meanwhile.

Contribution
This is my first contribution to translating to Open Source Tutorial within the Quasar Framework. As the tutorial mentions: although the examples are taken from the Quasar Framework they are true for other Open Source Projects. This provides me and other readers with a nice insight in both Quasar Framework and Open Source.
I translated 1070 words which makes up for 24% of the total word count for this tutorial. This part spoke about different kind of copyrights and how then 'permissions' work. I have to find out together with which words are better to keep in English and which ones will be best translated to Dutch. Dutch takes over many English words, but in this first part I might have kept too many translated to English. As I know from the previous project we'll figure this out together which will result in both a very 'correct' as well as a very 'readable' text in the end.
