Nice introductory tutorial Hive account@nicknyr. Hope to see something more creative than simply querying the API in the next tutorials from you. There are already tutorials about React and SteemJs available, I would suggest you to keep each tutorial such that it produces some end product, for example you could have added some value to the tutorial by showing the response data in a react component on the web browser.
