It's not an Utopian Task Request. I searched open source projects on GitHub that didn't have any logo. I contacted the Project Owner and offered him a new logo for the project as my open source contribution. After I showed my logo ideas, the project owner liked it and it was used in the project.

Details

EasyNavigation is an iOS library about iOS UI Navigation. This project help iOS developer to make navigation bar. This library is very simple to manage, easy, and fully customizable Navigation Bar. Before use this library, we need Cocoapods intalled on.

This logo design is trying to deliver idea about navigation bar as the main idea. I take 'E' initial as element from 'Easy'. I also take 'Navigation Bar' element which can representing about Navigation, then I try to combining them uniquely.

Rounded shape take dominant place in this logo design. For the typeface I also choose rounded font likes Nunito to make it corresponding.

Because this project didn't have any logo or brand identity color before. So, I chose greenish color schemes. I chose light green and dark green as main color. In other color versions, I chose yellow and red color schemes, the generic color schemes besides its black and white version.

Alternative Version

At the first time I only proposed one logo idea for the project owner. But, after that I tried to revise my logo idea and make it better. I changed the typeface, colors, and the shape a little bit. This is the first version.

Benefits / Improvements

This logo proposal help the Project Owner to improve the visual and identity of his project because this project didn't have any logo or brand identity before. Also this logo will make iOS developer interested to using this library. This logo also simple, flat, colorful, and unique design.
