It's not an Utopian Task Request. I searched open source project on GitHub and contacted the Project Owner by GitHub's issues then offered the Project Owner a logo for his project. I showed my idea, then the project owner decided to use the logo on the project.

Details
TravelDBM is a project that works on Android platform. This project created for searching hotels in a determined city. Introduce the city name along with the check-in and check-out dates to discover available hotel options for your stay. This project can save hotels as favorites, share hotel information with family and friends, and see hotel details as room prices, services, location, contact information and so on. This project also features a widget which shows your favorite hotels on your home screen and gives you direct access to each of them.
This logo design is trying to deliver idea about hotels. The main idea is showing the hotel shape to representing hotel and travel.
Rounded shape is dominant in this logo design. So, for the logotype, I chose rounded font likes Fredoka One to make it corresponding.
This project didn't have any brand identity color before. I offered the color identity also beside the logo. I chose orangeish color from the preview of the project then represent it in gradient style. In other color versions, I chose green and blue color, the generic color besides its black and white version.
Benefits / Improvements
- This logo help the Project Owner to improve the visual and identity of the project.
- This logo will help to make interest of people to use this Android app.
- This logo is also simple, flat, and have the unique shape.
